Answer: There are certain measures that G6PD patient should observe and avoid: Chemical Analgesics-aspirin, phenacetin Anti-Malaria drugs Napthalene Vitamin K Sulfonamides Antibacterials Food :Fava beans. Fava beans contain proxidants vicine and covicine which are toxic to cells. Vitamin K Vitamin C (excessive) All legumes Soya products Tonic water BRAND'S Essence of Chicken is not a listed food to be avoided for G6PD deficiency patient, therefore it should not result in any adverse effects when taken by G6PD patient.
