In this recipe, the goodness of BRAND’S® Essence of Mushroom is combined with steamed vegetables to create a wholesome dish that will be your body’s best friend against common viruses.

Ingredients:

  • 1 bottle of BRAND’S® Essence of Mushroom
  • 4 florets of broccoli (cut into bite-sized pieces)
  • 2 florets of orange cauliflower (cut into bite-sized pieces) or 1 carrot, 4 inches (cut into coins)
  • 2 florets of purple cauliflower (cut into bite-sized pieces) or 2 pieces of purple cabbage (shredded)
  • 2 florets of white cauliflower (cut into bite-sized pieces) or 2 pieces of white cabbage (shredded)
  • 10 to 15 goji berries
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons of olive oil (alternatives: canola, coconut or sunflower oil)
  • 1 stalk of coriander
  • Pepper to taste

Preparation:

  • Put the cut vegetables and goji berries in a basin filled with 1 litre of tap, distilled or mineral water. Add apple cider vinegar and leave to soak for 1 to 2 minutes. After that, rinse the ingredients with water and strain well.
  • Transfer the ingredients onto a porcelain or glass dish and drizzle olive oil over them.
  • Place the dish inside an electric steamer and steam for 6 to 8 minutes.
  • Once done, allow the dish to rest in the steamer for 2 minutes.
  • After that, remove the steamer’s lid and pour BRAND’S® Essence of Mushroom over the cooked ingredients. Then, remove the dish from the steamer.
  • Finally, season with pepper, garnish with coriander and serve hot.

Alternative preparation:

  • Add a pinch of salt and half a teaspoon of olive oil to boiling water. Parboil the cut vegetables and goji berries separately, for 1 to 2 minutes.
  • Transfer the ingredients onto a porcelain or glass dish and arrange them by colour. Then, drizzle BRAND’S® Essence of Mushroom and olive oil over the cooked ingredients.
  • Finally, season with pepper, garnish with coriander and serve hot.
